    E46 tierods on e36?

    Will it work?
The threads where the outer part connects to the inner, has the same threads...
But im not sure about lenght, vs e36 inner\outer.

    Does anyone know?

e46 control arm on e36 = tierods to short.
Just noticed that the outer part wont work, as its m12 that connects to the spindle. e36 is m10.
    but maybe the inner?

I have no idea, but e90 inner tierods, and e36 outer is too long for my e46 arms.
And all e36 tierods is too short.

    shady business.
    already done that.
but cutting the split section on the inner tie rod, does not help me sleep at night.

Reviving this. Searched, did not post a new thread. Sue me.

There is a garagistic option for this here: https://www.garagistic.com/products/...ol-arm-version
Assuming we dont want to pay $275, what else can be done? With heavy searching, there does not seem to be a better scenario than either:
    A. e90 inners heavily cut + e36 outers heavily cut (while still ditching the lock spacer between the inner and outer connection)
    B. Use 7mm rack spacers (between the rack and the inner tie rod) + e36 inner and outer tie rods.

Is there way of extending the e36 tie rod somehow just 10mm or so on each side so there is a smoother connection rather than grinding the whole day away?
