Parade laps? Lol. I couldn't make it yesterday.
I was waiting for the "where's the helmet?" comment : the pace was slow, but I got out of line a few times so it wasn't all bad. The pros to this vs an actual HPDE like I usually prefer is that I could have a photographer snapping really nice closeups. Sadly, like I said though, my windshield got chipped from a stupid civic, which makes me so irritated since I've never hurt my car at track/autox events before, but on a bs parade lap I had my windshield chipped... Which sucks because I need to get a new one now so I can pass tech again for real track events this summer.
Yea that has to suck. You probably had a better chance chipping the windshield on the highway. Highway speed laps or was it dumbed down?
55 mph... but I got well above that and got the back end loose as well.
which track?

NJMP... both Thunderbolt and Lightening. I've been on Thunderbolt before for real stuff, but never Lightening. Should I say it again, since you asked twice?
Edit: Lightening is apparently a blast on a bike... I have a few buddy's who do that, and iirc you are a Ducatti guy.

I don't like long trips alone, I will bring my buddy Rich if he is around, no pun intended... PM me any events you were planning on doing, I'd be down for VIR, Glen, or NJMP too!
One of Rich's track worthy cars fwiw... (5.0 v8), but also has the s50 supercharged widebody e30 I've posted before and will be swapping a v8 soon in his 350z.
I'll be at VIR a LOT this upcoming year
NJMP, all the east coasties

VIR it is
Oh... and my new shift knob It makes the throws on the stock shift insanely long so I'll be getting either an AKG setup or the Bear Motorsports one.

working pics of shift knob?
Can see it now. Looks like an exotic version of the dil.. I mean Jaffster knob.
I was going for a replica of this shift knob from Sneed 4 Speed... For $30 in parts, my buddy made one for himself and one for me in ~3hours of time on the lathe. He also added a set screw, since my shifter is f*cked up and the shift knobs don't stay on.
