I fixed your grille, OP
pick a design
I like choice #2, as long as I can use the the second set of grilles as brake ducts.
It looks like a unibrow...

I will continue updates just for you the I think I may have the thread moved to the track section eventually though because I will make the car more of a track car since I only drive it about 50 miles a week and I need a roll bar, seats, harnesses, etc. if I want to start doing hill cimbs... I am also starting to think about buying another car as a daily driver. Something newer with paddle shifters and bells and whistles.
And me??Originally Posted by jeremy5000
Paddle shifters? Bells and whistles? *cough E46 M3 *cough
350whp is a piece of cake for an Evo, the one thing I really hate about them, is they run outta juice past 100-110... Not very good highway monsters. And from what I seen and heard, no real problems with the auto trans they offer, reliable and quick.Originally Posted by jeremy5000
I've never had great luck with the BMW awd systems... I've drove a friends e90 328xi in the snow, and it was no comparison to the Subarus and Audis I've driven.
Eventually I will make a dedicated thread about it, but for now my focus is making this thing safer for the track.
Do what I did and buy. A bright blue automatic civic and get 38mpg!Originally Posted by jeremy5000

Back on topic to the m3... its smoking a lot recently, so I'm gonna try and diagnose it tomorrow. If I can't figure it out after 2 hours of messing around, I will have to take it somewhere because I have no time to try and fix things.
2007 X5 4.8i loaded....?
What color smoke is coming out of the M3? Are you burning any oil?
As for the DD, I know you said not yet, but I thought I'd just throw it out there that my Audi has made an awesome DD. Great in the snow, no reliability issues (as long as you get the right engine) and extremely comfy/smooth yet still fun. Not sure if you saw it parked behind my M at Bimmerfest with the "M3 BFF" plates
