Part identification help...

I was changing my pads this morning, when i noticed this hanging by a wire on the driver's side in front of the fender liner. Can anyone tell me what it is?

to the airduct on the drivers side. the pointy part is suppsoe to be in there....

or brakeduct, if you are still not sure...
next to the fog, on the left, as you're looking at the car (i think)
fits in a little hole on the top. (or side)
it will be blindingly obvious when you take a look.

There's a hole in the air duct that it sorta snaps into.. You should be able to see if if you look inside the duct from the front, pretty sure the hole it on the top side..
