Here is what has been eating up ALL of my time...
Last race of the season early Dec. and then i should finally have some time for the Bimmer again.

Tie rod spacers almost finished up.
using E46 lower control arms, e36 rack and tie rods (inner and outer)
well a slight change of plans do to a bad front wheel bearing. I've been looking for an excuse to do this any way.
Picked up a set of e36 (non M to the best of my knowledge) knuckles/brakes fit them on the E30. Modified the coilovers and top of the strut (moved forward to help the caster issue) car is also fitted with the E46 lower arms.
While the current solution works i'm not terribly happy with it and will be building a new strut tower/plate that will allow for proper tuning. The "lolly pop" also needs some attention ie: adjustable in order to really be able and dial in the front.
Test fit a 17x8 38mm wheel and to my surprise the fenders did not agree. A quick snip and i was able to make plenty of extra room for $0 Now just a bit of fiber work to tidy things up.
**fail, thought i had a picture or to on my computer already. pic tomorrow

looks good man!
Awesome. Looking forward to more pics. That's quite a large work space you have there....

scrape, scrape, boom, hiss..........................
super SH** I pod picture outside my old Apartment but it gives you an idea of how the fender was treated
I'll be doing a bit of fiber work as well, nothing as in depth as the cyber evo but these pics will give you a good idea of what the finished product will resemble. (again nothing as extreme for the e30 at this point!)

Looking forward to taking delivery on some Ar. gas this week to get my weld on!
Will be keeping things simple just a matter of finding the correct DOM material over here.
looking really good
looks good, I might be doing an sr swap on my e30 as well. Seems to be a solid build!
Speed>Elegance
love this build....

New year causing some delays...
can't find anyone to deliver DOM (or even order it until after the new year)
Shop with the plasma cam can't seem to use my cad drawing of the exhaust flanges needed. Anyone here familiar with "turbonest" software?
300 torque max if your lucky with that turbo. Running 18 psi or 30 psi will make the same power probably a little less since the compressor will be so far past the efficency zone it will be just a hair dryer heat soaking your intercooler. Realistic out put number at 18 psi are 300 hp and 250 ft/lbs.
Sick build by the way!
It all depends on the set up and how much boost you make at low rpm when it comes to the torque. You can absolutely squeeze over 18psi out of the S15 turbo on an SR in the mid range to make more than 250 torque.
I do agree the 300hp and 250 torque #s would be realistic for pump gas and 18psi, with better fuel and some fine tuning there is more power to be had
With that said I may not even end up using the s15 turbo if all goes as planned in the next 3 months.
sick
putting a bit of metal back into her
updates coming again one day soon, just no time to play with my personal car at the moment...
recently had some time to add a little strength and caster adjustment to the front strut mounts.
bit more from today
More metal...
Front strut towers
Tubes to front frame rail
Tubes to lower frame rail under drivers/passengers feet. *still need to add gussets to a few places on these*
Repair/re-enforce/replace frame rails
Added "sub frame connectors (these basically run wheel to wheel (front to back) along the pinch welds and have a few cross bars) *will be incorporating trans mount and drive shaft hoop in the cross bars*
Sheet metal patch/re-enforcement **as you can see in the pictures rear of the front wheel wells still need some sheet metallove**
holy shit. give me a lift
E34 complete subframe swapped in along with rear coilover set up.
I also had some time to start on the cooling system, still have to add a few breather fittings/lines before she's complete
