My E46 Widebody N54 powered Track car

A few years ago I built a E36 328 into a race car. Some of you may have seen my thread or Facebook page. I have since sold that car (still miss it) and have built a slight upgrade which I thought some of you may like to see.

Its a E46 M3 body, powered by a built N54 with single turbo conversion, using Motec management and a bunch of other stuff. The motor runs at around 700hp. Its loads of fun but unfortunately with lock downs etc I have not been able to race it much in 2020 with this new setup, and in 2019 we were plagued with all sorts of reliability problems which made me decide to rebuild it early in 2020 - we did finish a few races with some great results in the class's that I raced in.

Here is a short video of the last testing we were doing. We were not running at full power as the motor was still brand new.

If you would like to know more, please feel free to ask here of have a look on my Face Book page were I documented the build from start to where it is now. (it is on the market but not desperate to sell)

If anyone would like to see some more pictures please let me know and I will post some.

That is a beautiful build... Do you have any pictures of the engine bay and details of the rear fender flare install or just not wrapped?

    Hi Nick,

Sorry for the late reply. I honestly missed your question. Here is a picture for you of the engine bay.

The rear flares are basically fibreglass flares that have been added after cutting away the standard arches. here are some pictures that hopefully will help explain what im trying to. The one of the damage is because a very slow Porsche decided to turn into me without checking his mirrors but it shows how the arch is fitted more or less. Then the other picture is of the body kit being fitted. .
