Summary: I am the 3rd owner. I purchased the car on 11/11, with 63,700 miles on it from a couple that baby-ed it. It was "her" car, a 60 yr old+ woman.

The car runs solid, and its I6/170 HP is a significant improvement over the 1.9L (136 HP) power- and durability-wise. You will not have to rev it up so it doesn't stall when taking off from a t-light with A/C on like the 1.9 does (I know this because I owned a first-issue '96/1.9L back in 1996). Corners like it is on rails. Everything works. The interior is perfect from dashboard to floor mats. I have an extra set of tan floor mats, which I'll throw in, as well. I am using the tan one on the driver's side to avoid wear of the original black mat with Z3 logo).

MPG-wise: Always filled 93 octane. Last 5 tanks, since I discovered a nearby station, with E0-93 octane gasoline. Last tank yielded 25.92 mpg City. This next tank seems to be on target for 28? But... who cares, when you have the top down on a Sunny dry Spring/Autumn day...

I'll pay up to $500 for shipping in the 48 contiguous States.

We just went through our NC annual pine tree pollen storm, where everything gets covered with this greenish-yellowish dust from the pollen. The car will not be washed until the storm is over; a waste of time and $$$. The car will be detailed prior to shipping.

For those PM-ing about this part and that part; I greatly appreciate your interest. The car is not being parted out. The price is very fair, and competitive, i.e.: local dealers a selling same thing with 120K-140K miles, in worse condition for $9.5K-$11K. So go for it!

    Coupes...
These pictures make the car look much more worn than it is.

I suggest a complete detail job and new photos with those fancy vacuum marks on the carpets etc.

That would definitely make your care more appealing.

Vacuum the crevices in the seats and take off the bra for the photos.

    Just my $0.02
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.

    I like Coupes.

X2! on mpire and doug's suggestions...

that bra doesnt even look like it fits right. Take it off for the pics, and let the design lines show. A nice 3/4 front and 3/4 rear shot would be good too.

    GLWS!

Thank you very much for the feedback joe, doug and mpire.

Like I wrote; waiting for the NC annual pollen super-storm to be over before doing the deep detailing. You guys have no idea how bad it is. Ask Todd. I have never seen anything like it in 3 continents that I've lived in. This year's is by far the worst I've seen since I moved here in 1988.

Yes, the bra seems too tight. My Z is a DDD girl... :-) Proly didn't get it on right. I just want to show that it has it, and, whomever has the time, can do a better fitting job than me.

Better pix will be posted in a few weeks when the pollen crap is over, and car is detailed.

    Guys,

Miguel is right about the NC pollen. That yellow tint in the pictures (especially the steering wheel shot) is pine pollen. My windshield needs cleaning every day. After a while you just give up and wait it out.

I washed it day before yesterday. This morning, although not as bad as a cpl of weeks ago, the whole rag top has this almost neon yellow-green pine pollen... just from sitting in carport for two days! It is a waste of time, water and effort to wash and wash and wash until this blows over.

Don't want to put cover on, so ppl driving by can get a look at it. I have had quite a few of those... drive by's.. suddenly stop at end of driveway... rubber-neck... drive off... LOL!!!
