    Aftermarket clutch/pp & slave cylinder: non-M in M?

Getting ready to replace my slave cylinder.

I've heard that you can use the non-M e36 slave cylinder with the e36 m3's when doing an aftermarket clutch/pp/fw to increase pedal resistance. Something about the non-m cylinder has a smaller bore and creates more pressure on the pedal for the sprung hub pressure plate being installed. I'm running a UUC Performance Organic Clutch w/ 8.5lb flywheel.

Can anyone confirm this, or everyone just using the stock m slave cylinder and easy pedal?

The non-M has a 20.64mm bore and the M has 22.2mm, so yes using a non-M slave will increase pedal effort and reduce travel.
