    Electric fan where is it

    Hi guys i have a 2001 bmw 325 ci and i noticed this plug

    I research it on it and discover this plug goes connect it to the electric fan
    I looked everywhere and cant find it ... Would affect anything if i drive it without the fan.
    Car is not overheating
    Ac its working

    lets see, is your car auto, or 5 speed?
    im assuming its a 5 speed, and the owner before you installed a used clutch fan for cheap. or your missing your aux fan in front of the a/c condesor.

    Yes it is a 5 speed and it does have a clutch fan

    Yeah i think thats the one im missing, would it affect anything or should i just buy one

    Well, when its time to use the a/c in the summer time, you might over heat at idle as the electric fan goes in high mode. With the clutch fan, it might be to low of a speed at idle.

    Some one installed a fan with a mechanical (heat activated) clutch instead of replacing the electric fan that would normal sit between the radiator and the engine.

    Wow...that's ridiculous. Get yourself an electric fan from AutohausAZ. You'll run better and the car will stay properly cooled.
