Hi guys i have a 2001 bmw 325 ci and i noticed this plug
I research it on it and discover this plug goes connect it to the electric fan
I looked everywhere and cant find it ... Would affect anything if i drive it without the fan.
Car is not overheating
Ac its working
lets see, is your car auto, or 5 speed?
im assuming its a 5 speed, and the owner before you installed a used clutch fan for cheap. or your missing your aux fan in front of the a/c condesor.
Yeah i think thats the one im missing, would it affect anything or should i just buy one
Well, when its time to use the a/c in the summer time, you might over heat at idle as the electric fan goes in high mode. With the clutch fan, it might be to low of a speed at idle.
Some one installed a fan with a mechanical (heat activated) clutch instead of replacing the electric fan that would normal sit between the radiator and the engine.Originally Posted by Rb26cory
Wow...that's ridiculous. Get yourself an electric fan from AutohausAZ. You'll run better and the car will stay properly cooled.
