    Help! - Cam position sensor problem

    I am hoping someone can help with this- My service engine soon light came on, had code read out and it was "P0345 Camshaft Position Sensor A Bank 2 ('01 Sport).

    Bought a new sensor and asked someone on the boards which side of the engine is "Bank 2" and was told "drivers side".

    Replaced sensor, reset code and within 4 minutes the light came back on! Same code!!

    Is bank 2 really on the drivers side? These sensors are the ones right on the front of the cylinder heads, no?

    The plug/ socket looks OK...

    Any ideas or has anyone had a similar experience?
