31 BMW dealers honored as Centers of Excellence
Woodcliff Lake, NJ – March 7, 2012… BMW of North America, LLC today announced its annual Center of Excellence honors, awarded to the top performing dealerships in the U.S. Thirty-one of the 339 BMW dealers nationwide achieved “2012 Center of Excellence” status based on their 2011 performance in customer satisfaction, outstanding brand representation, operational excellence and profitability.
“BMW customers have high expectations of their vehicle and their dealer,” said Peter Miles, BMW of North America Executive VP of Operations. “It takes extraordinary and consistent effort to attain the level of a COE dealership.”
The BMW Group continues to lead the automotive industry as the number one premium auto manufacturer in the world and is the primary mobility provider for the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as the 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams. During 2012, BMW will launch a number of new vehicles in the U.S., including the all-new 3 Series Sedan, 6 Series Gran Coupe, and the M5 Sedan ensuring their position as the number one luxury brand in the U.S.
“The Center of Excellence winners have done exceptionally well,” said BMW of North America President and CEO Ludwig Willisch. “In this Olympic year, these 31 are our top athletes, so it’s fitting that we send them to the London 2012 Olympics as their reward.”

No offense, but I think Peter Pan BMW is the gayest name I have ever heard in my life for a dealership.
It is a Penske store?

Kind of surprised Roadshow isn't on there. I have had nothing but good experiences there, but then again I know who to go to. So that might be why.
I have also only had good experiences with my BMW dealership, New Motors in Erie, PA.
Oddly enough they are the only dealer left in town that hasn't pissed me off.
Current fleet:
1999 BMW e36 M3
1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head
1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
1962 Austin Healey Sprite
Wow. No NY or NJ dealers.
rigged. no Canadian dealerships.
no Parkshore Motors, Vancouver, BC ?? (even their name is cool)...I love their classy BMW license plate frames on my cabrio.
&, no The BMW Store, Vancouver, BC ??
again, rigged.
No Century BMW, the closest BMW dealership to the Spartanburg plant...and no surprises. Terrible dealership.
Despite the name, BMW NOrth America is a US Entity, fully independent of BMW Canada, that's why.Originally Posted by beermedude

Unbelievable BMW of Monrovia made the list. Had terrible service from their service center, won't ever go back. Now servicing at Center BMW in Sherman Oaks. Two thumbs up for their service!!!

Wonder how savage made that list... I can think of other dealers more deserving of it.
Suspension: Bilstein Sports, GC Coilover conversion, IE Subframe Bushings, IE RTABs, M roadster sways, M roadster front control arms, M roadster Front calipers/hubs.
Engine/Driveline: M54B30 intake Manifold, Dinan CAI, ZHP Cams, Headers, Underdrive pulleys, Conforti Software, 3.46 diff.
This one is complete BS. I had my BMW break down (it bogged down and printed "Engine Malfunction" on the idrive) the day after I bought it CPO from this dealership. The irony is I had a sales a rep in the car when it happened and was told "oh that's normal." The service department fixed the problem. They also sold it to me with the alignment off and tried to convince me it was the "crown of the road" causing my steering wheel to be off center. When I finally got them to fix it the thing was out of alignment by more than an inch.
I'm not impressed with Classic BMW of Plano.
Peter Pan is a great dealership, glad they made the list.
IL always letting me down
