    Headlight adjuster repair question

I know, I know, do a search. I tried. What I can't figure out is the more difficult headlight adjust repair the way it has to be done on any xenon light, or is it just for the facelifted lights? I have a 1999, but it appears to have xenon low beams (just bought it today). I.e. I have xenons but no angel eyes.

If they're the same xenon housings I have...it's gonna be a piece-o-cake! If you want, you can install AE's while you're in there...Weiss Licht AE's kick ass and no ballasts needed.

i replaced my adjusters few month ago and cry me a river, i didnt seat the lights well on passenger side and some freaky way, salt splatter got into the lights! i dont even know how, i didnt seat it perfectly but hey didnt think it was THAT bad lol.

Eh, not a big fan of the angel eyes actually. I wish I could deactivate these DRLs.

you can easily unplug the AE's. (not sure if it'll trigger a warning on the OBC or not)

But since I don't have them in the first place, I may as well not install them

I think the guy thought I didn't realize the wipers were messed up, but I just knew I'd be able to fix them with 2 minutes of my time and simply undoing the nut on the spline and repositioning it.

Ya get an insurance discount if running DRL's so why disconnect?

Many companies offer a discount for having DRL's, I have State Farm and it is 5%. That plus the safety factor make them worthwhile, IMHO.
