Recommendations on a good PPI shop in Long Island City?

I'm looking to purchase a new car from a dealer in Long Island City but it has a history of possible rental and/or lease. I'm going to ask my father who's a mechanic to come help me look at it but it would also be a good idea to put it on a lift.

Anyone know of any good shops in the area I could bring the car to and how much they would charge?

I do most of my own work, but if I let anyone touch my car or have somehting that I can not do my self I go to TKX in Huntington, Long Island. Taso is the owner and a very fair and honest guy. Be carefull, lot of people claim to be specialest and know Bimmers, which is not always the case.

I have never used Impressive (they are in your area) but I have heard several people that were not happy.

Once I took my car to the Little Garage, and it was a waitst of time.

I say if your gonna spend the money to have the car checked out, go to a pro. See Taso at TKX Preformance in Hungtington
