    Show me your garage.

" show me your garage" thread....

I started this thread looking for ideas to help finish my garage....

I had a chance to design the entire layout of the house.

    Theater room...Fast & Furious3/TOKYO DRIFT,Driven,Gone in 60seconds...in heavy rotation

tagged the foundation and put all kinds of "stuff" in the walls and wet concrete. One night The Police came by after hours and busted me dropping a Remy Martin bottle inside the walls! THUG LIIIFE!!!!!

There are sooo many odd items that are now built into the house...I can just imagine someone finding this crap 70 years from now! LoL!!

anywayz, Since Im into cars and really had no need for all the extra rooms in the original floorplan.

I deleted one room from the blueprints so that the garage would fit 3 (one side is "tandem".) cars plus other crap.

The had the driveway expanded on the side of the house to fit 7-8 cars...and had them install a dual faucet for hot water to wash the cars.

the only bad thing is that its already drywalled....and plain

Will drive it on nice days but weather has been bad recently and will probably sit for a couple weeks.

Garaged year 'round, driven 1-2x per week when there isn't any snow/ice on the ground. No pics of garage, typical 24x30' 3-car.

    not enough
No garage here, I drive her in all seasons and all conditions, but I wouldn't call her a daily driver.

    yep, my laboratory
Just installed BOSCH 19LB injectors and hope to cut the fuel consumption in half now. The increased power I could feel right away
And the engine does pass the €2 coin test despite it's age

They are about 11.5' high but you lose about 1' of that when the garage door is open. I can have an 8 on the lift at its highest position and open the garage door at the same time which is very nice.

That's an old pic... the black 8 (daily driver 8) is gone now. Just the Dinan is left.

Generally garaged during the winter but this winter has been really mild. Been able to drive it couple of days most weeks. Have not even put it on the charger yet. Doesn't look like it will be necessary.

I basically drive mine every day, the only no no for me is if the road crews have been salting. I always garage my 8 tho, climate controll helps everything last longer.

    That's a very shiny 8, nice.

Mine is garaged, the driving standards here in Budapest leave a lot to be desired and I definitely don't want to risk it on the snow and icy rubbish roads here. Roll on springtime!

Garaged full-time, drive once or twice a week (on weekends only, weather-permitting) to "pick up a newspaper", no rain, no snow ('s why they call it a "garage queen", right?). No pics as my garage is typical butt-ugly 2-car garage attached to the house (would be too embarrassing compared to what I've seen in this thread so far).

    Nice!

Measured today and im only at 9.5 but the garage is "tandem" on one side...so I dont have to worry about the door.

guess I'll look into other options

I updated the first post in this thread with pix of the "build"

The ceiling is 12' and the doors are 10' x 10'. I'm 5'10" I can put to the second highest lock point and still open the door and walk under the car no problem. I do sometimes double park my Audi under it if its cold enough outside that I want to park the truck inside.
