    E46 M3 (MK60) ABS pump hydraulic connections

    Hello Guys,
I am looking for some help from any of you that may have a "late" E46 M3 in your garage you could look at for me.
Late being post 2003 model year to the end of the run E46 M3.

I am looking to confirm plumbing routing on an E46 M3 (MK60) ABS pump. If one of you knows or could confirm what plumbing goes where I would owe you many beers...

Looking at the ABS pump for this conversation oriented with its round bit pointing up (12:00) it has a silver plumbing block under it with the 4 outlets facing you, connector facing your right side
I know thats not how they are mounted in-situ, but for this purpose easiest to discuss.

    There are:
2- fittings on the top (facing upwards like the round bit)
4- fittings on the face facing you

The way I am reading the German labeling on the pump I have deduced:

Upward LEFT port - Left Front brake
Upward RIGHT port - Right Rear brake

Forward Top LEFT port - Front Inlet from MC
Forward Top RIGHT port - Rear Inlet from MC

Forward Bottom LEFT port - Right Front brake
Forward Bottom RIGHT port - Left Rear brake.

Thanks again for reading this far and any confirmation (or the right way) you can send my way.
    Cheers
    jimmy

    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

As I recall, the pump is pretty much buried and following the lines w/o the car on a lift would be a challenge.

    I'll verify tomorrow, JImmy.

    Thanks very much.
Even confirmation or correction of a few lines would help confirm or deny I was reading the german nomenclature correctly.

    Thanks!

I was correct in regards to the buried aspect. If the car was on a lift, it would help.

From above, I can see the top where the lines exit, but then they disappear.

I do see stamped lettering, which I'm sure you see as well. I'm going to e-mail a pic which probably is of little use.
