Serious question. I checked FCP Groton, OEMBimmerParts, BavAuto, and some other random stores, and all they have are VictorReinz and some other brands I never heard about.
Dealer here wants way too much, as usual.
Suggestions?
Edit: Just remembered ECS Tuning. They have OEM but only for the M62TU.

I usually order my parts from BimmerSpecialists.com; they have really good prices, no customs, one week-ish shipping times, OEM and other brands available.
...BMW Addict!...
I got mine from the dealer as member here have had mixed results with the aftermarkets.
You can get them from http://ebmwparts.com or http://getbmwparts.com. Both are BMW dealers but have an online store that sells discounted genuine BMW parts.
look up the part number for your car at http://bmwfans.info or http://realoem.com

Just type in the part # for your vehicle: left side 11121725003. Here it is for an '01 750.

Can Max from oembimmerparts.com ship to Canada? That guy is great!

production date: 01/95, DUDMD engine chip, Dinan transmission chip, Dinan CAI, Beyern Multis, Magnaflow cats, mufflers, 3" down turn tips. Bilstein shocks, struts, H & R stage II springs, strong strut brace, pornlights, wood ashtrays, leather/wood seatbacks, euro lighted headrests, 750 kidney grills, wood handles, wood maplight, b-pillars out of a 750, Ford Mustang injectors, "E's" AE and LED 3rd brake light special, cats delete, Magnaflow X-pipe, 199K miles
I agree with that statement, Max is the best.
I order from Max all the time too and love his great service! However, he does not carry some BMW OEM items that others are looking for like the VCGs.

He only has Victor Reinz. Dealer here wants 60 plus tax for each side. Ha ha.Originally Posted by mcallister

Yup I just finished my valley pan, intake, vcg, intake cover gaskets and osv. Got the whole kit from Max. I've used Victor Rienz gaskets for years and never had a problem. They're good quality. I love Gasgacinch gasket sealer best stuff ever.
Victor Reinz and Elring are both original parts on various BMWs. Saying you won't use them is similiar to saying "I don't want to use Lemforder because I don't know what it is".
There is Victor Reinz in a BMW box from the dealer or there is Victor Reinz from an online vendor. Its the same thing and both are made in Germany just one costs half as much.
My victor reinz utcgs (still unused in plastic) are different than the ones i got at dealer...Originally Posted by 525iT_Feen

Sometimes the texture or grooves are a little different because they are produced at different times. If you buy an s52 headset from Victor Reinz everything will be EXACTLY the same as the dealer except the headgasket because the grooves in it look a little different. It doesn't mean the quality suffers.
I'm not here to start argument as I really don't care. Just sharing what I know. Take it or leave it.
Texture was different... They may of been elrings... I dunno just stating my experience. I used dealer because people stated they had trouble with vr utcgs... I used victor reinz for my vcgs and dealer for utcgs... So far no leaks! Vr utcgs to me looked more appealing (shiny and a bit thicker) dealers were more flat colored and a bit thinner looking... I still have them. Got from autohausaz...
I used Elring from eeuroparts. They are fine. Not one leak.
Auto zone carry Victor Reinz vcg. I wonder if its the same as oem...
A part that was made more than 10 years ago may be improved upon material wise. The plastics and rubber industries are constantly changing. I'd not expect something such as HCG's to be made by the same manufacturer nor contain the same materials from decade to decade, in these times. Not many of us use a cell phone made 10 years ago I'm sure...

Re-Awakening this thread as I need some help. Does anyone have part numbers for the Valley Pan and the gaskets please.
