    is this wire routed correctly?

while cleaning, aligning and breaking things yesterday i tried to figure out if this wire was routed correctly - see the attached pics.

i tried to find an alternative route before when changing the waterpump. it's always bothered me - the wire loom is pinched and i replaced what looked like OE electrical tape in the pinch spot.

is there a better way to route this thing?

here's a detail of the wire pinched between the upper hose and reservoir bracket too.

yes - although there are two sensors coming out of this bundle - i'm guessing the other is the cam position sensor.

it goes back to a block under my intake manifold. i tried disconnecting it from the sensor side and re-routing it and i couldn't fit the ends where i wanted without taking off the hose... i don't know how to disconnect the other side.

I don't have a better pic than this one but it'll do:

As you can see, the wire is between the PS tank and the oil filter housing, but passes over the PS tank fixations

now at least i know it's wrong. i'll take a look at getting it disconnected from everything on the topside and see if i can wrap it back around... it looks like i'll have more rerasons to spend time under the hood soon anyway
