Hi everyone!
New here and just bought my first BMW yesterday. It's a 2014 428i xDrive Coupé. Not new but absolutely mint condition. 12000 miles on the odo. My last car was a 2010 Audi A5, which I loved to drive and to look at. But I must say this little 4 cylinder turbo charged beauty is way sweeter on the road. And also has a more agressive look which appeals to me. All IMHO, of course. I was really surprised at the very responsive engine and the road performance of the car (and I have a history from Corvettes including ZR-1). The only thing I noted as a possible minus is the extremely direct steering. It felt a little "nervous" from time to time. Guess it's a matter of getting used to. Also I do love the mass of systems in the car (I'm an aeronautical engineer so pretty system-biased). All in all - a very happy new owner.
And here's the beauty (still at the dealer):
Nice joining you. Will probably be back with a zillion rookie questions! (Although I actually worked a few years at a BMW repair shop in the good ol' seventies...)

Just a quick hello. Snagged a 2015 328i xDrive last week. Premium, nav, driver's assist, and cold weather package. You could say I've contracted the virus since this is our second BMW in 6 months, which is a 2015 X1 28i xDrive loaded with M Sport... for the spousal unit.

Just picked up an estoril blue 2014 435i with the m sport package. On the truck to me right now. Next up jb4 and whatever else I can get done soon.
Last week, I went to a doctor appointment in Salt Lake City, UT (I live in Idaho...). After my appointment, I made a stop at the area CarMax dealership to look at a 2011 X3 they had in stock. While I was there, I test drove the X3 x-drive 35i, a 2012 M3 (loved it, did not want to spend that much at this time...), and finally a 2012 335i sedan. I must say, I was not in the market for a 4-door vehicle, but they did not have any coupes in stock, except for the M3. I was convinced I wanted the X3 and even started the process of buying it. I asked to take the 335i for an additional test drive and was hooked. I changed my paperwork and took delivery of the 335i. It had 45k miles on it and is under factory warranty & maintenance plan until 50k or July 2016. So, I'll be able to get a fresh set of front brakes and an oil change before the plan runs out.
I sadly had to retire my white with black top 1999 323i convertible.

Just said goodbye to my 2013 335i M Sport Coupe and picked up a new 2016 435i ZHP. I am in love.

The ZHP is admittedly a little ostentatious, but this diet M4 is an absolute thrill to drive.

just picked up this 2013 328i m sport. Upgraded from an e90 and absolutely love this car.
Hey everyone. Here are a few quick pics of my "new to me" CPO 2013 328i Sport Line. I picked it up in late January and it is my first BMW (coming from a modified G35S). After a few weeks of driving I'm wondering why it took me so long... Anyway, the vehicle is mostly stock but I have made a few modifications:
RaceChip Ultimate
//M Sport brake kit
403M Staggered setup
//M Sport Kidney grilles
I'm not sure what's next, maybe exhaust?
Summary of my Bimmer. 2012 328i Sedan - Glacier Silver - 18" Toyo Tires with Nürburgring Metal Grey Rims, H&R Sport Springs, GIAC Tune, VRSF Intercooler, aFe Air Filter, Magnaflow Exhaust, Carbon Fiber accents, SS Pedals, Lloyd Luxe floor mats, BMW CCA member since 2015. First Bimmer - 2000 Z3 M.
Ran on a track for the first time last week and will do Autocross next week. This is my daily driver so I don't want to go too crazy on adding more performance mods.
Just put in some silver trim inside cabin, changed the bulbs to Xenon type, and keeping my eyes open for other things to do.

Hello!
I have had my 2015 BMW 335i xdrive for about a year and a half now. I visit the /r/bmw subreddit frequently but just recently created an account here.
Augmentations:
- Clear Bra
- Tinted Windows
- Staggered MB VMR V710's: 235/35ZR19 fronts, 275/30ZR19 rears
- Michelin Pilot Super Sports
- H&R Sport Springs
- Painted front reflectors
Here are some pics, I hope you enjoy them!
Nice car, I love the wheels.
Hey thanks I appreciate it!
I ordered the 428i Xdrive Convertible and can not seem to find any info on the linear dimensions of the trunk with the top down. I am headed to Munich in a couple weeks to take delivery before having it shipped back to the US, any chance you could provide some idea of trunk space ahead of time? I would like to put a speaker box of some sort in there but I'm not sure how much height there is. I would appreciate any insight you can provide on that and any other features worth mentioning.
Hi, Bought my first BMW in May. It is a 2014 328i. So far loving it. Looking to do some small mods such as upgrading sound and others. Hope to use the forums as source of information in this journey.
thanks.
Been lurking for a couple weeks after a friend told me about this forum and decided to join after he invited me to an autocross event and I found some needed information on here. I have a 2014 328d M sport with nothing done to it. After autox this past weekend I would like to change that, so figured I would join and learn what and what not to change for what I want it to do so I can become faster.
Welcome. Good to see another glacier silver f30.
I'm back in the Bimmer game after picking up a '13 328i xDrive Sport Line. I had an E46 325xi many years ago, and this is a definite upgrade from that (I had several other cars in between). Not surprisingly, the mod bug is already festering.....
