Hello everyone,
I have a 2015 BMW 328i xdrive. I started to run into the issue where every week the car would tell me it was low on oil, and I should add a quart. This is about 2 months after I had replaced my spark plugs because of a misfire. The issue then started to become more frequent where every few days the car would tell me add oil. I also should mention I was not driving more than a 50 miles per day at the maximum.
I am hoping anyone has any advice that avoids me needing a new engine due to bad piston rings. I have done weeks of research and have talked to 2 mechanics, but no one has taken the engine apart due to the fact that I have avoided that labor cost.
Thank You in advance and I have attached videos of my engine.
ALL HELP / ADVICE IS APPRECIATED
Have you inspected the turbo?
