He is fixing my truck and Is the only one I trust to touch my truck. If lets say some thing doesnt work, Id fix the problem asap.

3K is very temping. Does it come with all the paperwork? Do you happen to have the VIN off the engine, so I can check?

What kind of warranty your "friend" and you going to give me, if I decide to buy the engine.

I'll send you half-payment. Once I get the engine I'll test for compression and other things. If it work out and the engine is in great shape then I'll send you the other half.

The reasons are alot of member here got screw with bad engine. for example OverRev is the prime example.

3K is a lot of money to lose, would you agree?

Also, you only have 13 total posting count, so I am little hesistant to fork over 3K...

Do you happen to have pictures of the engine? Please take with cover off and also closeup on the VIN..

I understand completly with everything youve said,
#1 The motor is not stolen.
#2 As far as warrenty, when I bought my truck I asked what happens if the motor breaks, he said tough luck, but my friend has told me it runs.
#3 I think the motor is out of the car, but Ill ask him anyways.

Yes 3k is alot Of money and the last thing I want to do Is to ripoff someone.
Dont know If any of you guys know what a Gmc Typhoon, this is no anverage truck, and I dont let anyone touch my truck, only 3 people and he is one of them.
