17” Staggered BMW M System II “Throwing Star” Rims (Wheels w/ Tires)



These are OEM rims that came on e34 M5s. The plastic cover in the middle comes off and it then becomes a deep dish black 5 spoke rim with aluminum lip. Sort of like getting 2 rim styles for the price of one.

Please examine all photos as they do show wear due to being used for 18+ years. I tried to take pictures of any scrapes or scratches, but it would be best if you saw them in person obviously. All in all they are in great shape and all hold air, no bends or bubbles that I know of.

The front two 8” wide rims have GoodRide SV308 245/45/17 and the two rear 9” wide rims have Bridgestone Potenzas. Please refer to the pictures for tread depth, the fronts are a little older than the rears. They all have plenty of tread anywhere from 8-9 32nds.

Again, they are not mint, but I feel they are in very good shape. Please examine the pictures closely.

The centers are not plastic covers. They are magnesium. I wish I had a extra $1500 to throw these on my new DD!! GLWS!

Thanks, I am in no rush to sell them.. I feel its a fair price due to the tires and scarsity of the rims. The only thing I might change is willingness to ship. Seems like a huge pain in the ass boxing them up etc.

Mismatched tires is hardly going to build value.

No need to box if there are tires still mounted. Cut some cardboard discs to protect the faces of the wheels. Then get a big roll of that industrial cling wrap and wrap them up nicely. Then load them in your minivan and drive to the FedEx depot and put it on my account.

Of course there are flaws, they have been spinning at a high rate of speed for 18 years, had numerous tires mounted and unmounted, scraped a curb etc. this is why I would prefer a local sale so there isn't any disappointment. Thank you!

I have a striking suspicion that Nik would have them refinished anyway.

Why not run these on your new touring though? Would look very nice.
