If this is necessary I may use a T56. Are there any aftermarket shifters that would work, or is it that the trans. is too tall? What exhaust manifolds are you recommending now that you aren't making headers? Let me know, thanks. paulmcurran@gmail.com I can wait for a group buy if that helps you.
I'm not sure about the tr6060. I know my transmission mount won't work with the 6060.
If you decide to go t56 get ahold of Lantz. I don't have any t56 sets in stock.
As far as headers/manifolds, I have no leads. I've heard there are options but never got part numbers.

Let me know if you have any questions

I still have one set left. I went the T56 magnum route. The T56 magnum is the new aftermarket version of the tr6060 that can handle up to 700 hp stock and has the benefits of the newer tr6060 design.

That with the gto 04-06 shifter lines right up.

You should be able to run stock truck manifolds I believe. I donít think there are options for long tubes.

Thanks JF, I have a kit coming from lantz. Questions on proceeding: I need a 6 cyl. front crossmember to put in my E39 540i V8. Looks like all of these 6 cyl. ones are the same? Not clear how many parts I need, crossmember, steering rack with tie rods, control arms (upper & lower)? Shocks, What else? Should be able to find off 1 car, where to look, what should I have to pay? You mentioned someone found headers from Summit that fit, anyone have info on those?? I'm sure there will be more questions, thanks for the help, Paul

Any subframe will fit, any year range. You'll need the whole assembly though, subframe, control arms and shocks.
I paid $200 for a subframe with a rack, lower control arms and tie rods.

I don't have any information on the headers, never got part numbers.

I run Z8 mounts. They fit in stock locations but seem to be a little more rigid rubber. You can use stock E39 ones as well.

Hello, new to the forum. I have a 2000 540 6-speed that im planning on doing an LS1 swap in. I will be putting in the front suspension/crossmember and steering rack from a 530 in it. Will these mount work since i will be using my 6-speed tranny, not a t56?

The engine mounts should work, you'd probably have to make a transmission mount though.

Ok, it will be a while till I do the swap, I'm just doing all my research now. I plan on doing a TT setup so it should be a fun project. Do you know if anyone makes a harness kit for e39 anymore or do I have to custom wire it?

Unfortunately with my current work schedule I just won't be able to make this work.
I'd much rather build headers and swap parts day in/day out. Haha

What style accessories (p/s, a/c, alt., etc.) fit best with JF mounts. I know there are several options. Thanks.

Depends on what your doing. If you are going turbo I would do corvette style. In my opinion it gives you the most options. Check out my build thread if doing turbo. I tried to document spacing for others and what I ran into.

Non turbo I think anything fits besides truck.
