E39 I6 LS Swap kit

I don't think so, the engine in the 540 sits lower than in the 528 which would throw the angles off.

I see you are in ct, where abouts, I'm using his mounts and they look great. My motor will be in the car by the weekend. Took a while to acquire my trans at a decent price which held me up.

Well I can tell you right now the Holley 302-2 oil pan does not clear the subframe. It's about 3/4" to forward in the sump area.

I have a 2000 740I coming to me, cheap. Does it make sense for me to swap to an E39 sub frame to install the LSA and 6L80E here with your stuff?

Other way around. E39 to E38. The I6 subframe is "supposed" to fit... note the quotes.

Are you planning to swap the subframe? His mounts are for the 6 cylinder subframe, not the 540. I swapped my 540 subframe over to the 6 cylinder subframe and used these mounts. Just making sure you are aware this is necessary.
