UPDATED: 4/4/2013
I offer mounts and headers for swapping an Ls engine into the 6cyl model E39s.
The mounts work for any LS engine, 4L80E, tr6060 or T56 transmission.
They're made of 1/4" mild steel and are TIG welded. I suggest using an autokraft oilpan with my mounts.
The headers take a long time to build, since I have a regular job I have to build these in my spare time.
They have 3/8" flanges, 1 3/4" primaries and 2 1/2" collector with V-Band clamps. I'm working on getting a 1 7/8" set made. If you want different size collectors please specify before hand. They're fully purged and TIG welded.
PM for prices.
On to the pics!!

The chassis must always be regarded as a means to an end and never as an end itself
That is some good looking stuff

Great looking parts.
The difficult thing will be coming up with a price that pays for your efforts. Here's to more E39 swaps!
You are the man! those look Great!nice welds and finish
You have a PM
+1
That is some clean work. Everything looks so simple and straight forward. This could make me jump into a E39 and forget about my M3.
Thanks guys! It's been a lot of work, but I'm pleased with the results.
All PM's replied.
OMG!! Those look GOOD!! Strong work . . .

The bolts for the adaptor plate fit between the diff case and input flange, so no need to take the flange off for install.
with a price that pays for
Just about done with the T56 trans mount design. I'll need someone to test fit and let me know if anything needs to be changed as I don't have access to a t56 or time to swap it out. (on a deadline)
So if anyone is willing to be a test mule I'd be willing to cut a good deal.
Still waiting for the bill for the adaptor.
This is what I've been waiting for!!!!
This will be my grad school graduation gift to myself in May. Looks like excellent work!

LS3 / T56 swapped
^yea... its not an LSx =)
Very nice work
Which manual trans are you using for your mockup? 3rd gen F-body camaro T-56s seem to be getting kind of hard to come by. T56 magnum or 5th gen camaro TR6060 may be better candidates but you may have to adjust your engine mounts an inch or so to keep the shift lever in the same spot as stock.
Just going off dimensions online. I don't have access to a t56 or time to test fit it. That's why I need someone to test fit before I start making a bunch of them. I'm using a dimension for a production t56. From all the reading I've done they're all really close in length, other than the tr6060
Gotcha. That's what I bought my car for too.

Got the bill from the machinist.
Everyone that wants motor mounts with 4l80e crossmember make a list and I'll let my laser cutter know how many sets.
Also, I still need a volunteer for test fitting the T56 mount.
Found a guy thats willing to test the t56 mount.
It's cheaper to make ya own like me
U rite but how much do u want for that drive shaft ADAPTER
