e30 m10 distributor wiring question

Hey guys and greetings from Europe. Quick and propably stupid question about m10b18 distributor wiring. The car I bought has been sitting and it seems to have some wires missing. I do have the bosch ignition module correctly connected, but theres another small pin on the side of the distributor. Is it just some sort of a ground or should something else connect there?

possibly was the ground for an optional radio noise suppressor. you see them on a lot of m10 dists in different chassis. i've never seen anything hooked up to it.
