Just about to tick up to 160k miles this month. Drove her across the country 3,026 miles to be exact and no CEL. Proper I did however just blow a lower radiator hose, but that was truly my fault.
Loving that look kchang, just need some polished calipers or something to complete the stealth look IMO.

1998 528i with 119,xxx. Just replaced the radiator... AGAIN.
Worst problem I had were the ABS sensors and the radiators.

Pondering what it all means...
122k 99' 540i/6 - just replaced ignition switch.
145212 miles valve cover gaskets secondary air pump coolant system overhaul drives awesome!
My e39('99 528i), has almost 131K miles on the odometer.
I wish it was stick, and it had a little over 200hp. Id be 100% happy with that car.
sounds like you need to switch to Evan's Coolant - it's expensive but cheaper than a radiator.
I'm @ 181k. Replaced most suspension related stuff, differential, MAFS, cam sensor, coils, plugs, radiator, coolant hoses, valley pan, intake manifold gaskets, CCV.....lots of stuff.
00 528i sport 5-speed
155K and rising
new clutch/flywheel/e60 shifter/input & output seals/guibo/rear main/and much more at 135K
cooling overhaul, OFH seal and vanos at 137K
tie rods and enlinks at 153K
She had been neglected when I got her and she's come a long way. Next is suspension and wheels. Unless my brother in law decides to part with his 05 M3 with 27K miles on it.
LOVE it!!! Keep Flashing that DSC buddy
123k on the clock. I bought her at 104k almost a year ago. I have since done:
-Broken inner door handle
-Complete cooling system overhaul, including heater hoses
-Center support bearing & Guibo
-Valve cover gaskets and NGK plugs
-Mobil 1 oil every 7500k
-New Filters
-Wash & detail every week, nice perk when you work at BMW dealership..
-Two rear Hankooks, Goodyear F1's went defective..
-Plasti-dipped M-pars black for winter protection
Knock on woods:
-Not one dead pixel
-Only 3 cel's since i've owned the car, & the car fixed itself overnight...
*I do get a check brake lights everytime when car starts, but they always work fine, and they are original OEM's, just a short.
I tell everyone she rides like a Caddy and handles like Racecar!!

Luckily the prev. owner did the entire cooling system and brakes all around at 125K, the clutch at 110K. Did all the work above by myself, has surprisingly been one of the cheaper BMW's Iv'e owned.

E39 540/6
Production Date: July 1997
Currently 180,xxx miles
I purchased my e39 in 2004 with 75,000 miles and have had up's and downs with her. Here's a list of the downs:
*Cooling system overhaul at 78,900
*Alarm module went out. Dealer replaced and recoded. 110,000 miles
*Front window molding, waterpump (again), valve cover gaskets at 130,422
*Right rear window regulator at 154,834
*Front left window regulator at 160,727
*Windshield washer fluid pump at 165,972
*New ignition coil and boot at 169,053
*Valley pan gasket, all engine seals, coolant system overhaul, timing chain guides, ccv,
suspension overhaul, front window molding, front door seals inner/outer, and I'm
sure there is stuff I'm forgetting. 180,000
That's the list of stuff that has "broke". I've also done all the scheduled maintenance stuff blah blah blah. Over all I've dug having the car and I'm glad I got it. The car is currently down while I'm finishing all the suspension stuff I'm currently working on. Should be done in Feb sometime. I can't wait!

152K on the clock, nothing major all regular crap our cars need! but she still runs strong!
2003 525i Auto. Just over 100K miles. Had a new FSU (at 80K), ignition coils (at 65K) and AC Panel (at 80K) fitted. Normal maintenance carried out. Have a new thermostat and housing put to one side to be replaced in the next week or so. Parts that didn't need replacing but got done during the modding phase were springs and exhaust. No other problems to report.
