137,239 on a 2001 525i Sport wagon. I have put a whopping 200 miles on it myself since I bought it a week ago and I have already encountered some serious problems... time will tell if I got a lemon or not.
185,700 miles right now. Runs fine but with vague steering that I'm tracking down. Since 135k I've replaced:
-thrust arms
-tie rod ends, center link, idler arm w/bushing
-shocks/struts
-diff
-CSB
-passenger window regulator although the original didn't appear to be bad
-battery
-two water pumps
-idler pulley on the belt tensioner
-a bunch of hoses
-filters/spark plugs
-front brake rotors/pads
I can't really think of anything else. It's mostly normal wear & tear. Oh, and my moonroof is broken thanks to a friend.
123,xxx miles on my e39 and I have driven many long trips since I got it this past April @ 108k. Installing new MAFS made a HUGE difference.

Just ordered trans oil cooler lines today
M52TU, manual, 221K mi. Replaced lots of pulleys and tensioners, main belt, all cooling parts except water pump (soon to be done), VC gasket, and vanos seals.
No problems so far. Have only out 11K on it myself. I'd say the vanos seals made the biggest difference so far. Still need to do throttle body gasket, disa valve o-ring, airbox o-ring, and CCV and hoses.

NOT I! 2002 530i at 83,xxx. 2 owners. Previous owner had it in storage for a little under a year saving it for his 14 yr. old son. Son refused to keep it and wanted a VW instead
I have 267,605 miles as of tonight. It's the original m52 engine and original auto trans with original fluid.
Most recently I replaced the CCV this week, which was original as far as I knew. I've also replaced the whole cooling system about 25k ago. ICV about 10k ago. All new Bilstein coils 10k ago. Vanos seals and valve cover gasket about 4k ago. New general module 3 about 2k ago.
And that's the recent stuff, and the oil has been changed since 114k with royal purple.

Mine is a 1999 540 6 speed with 145001 k miles.No major problems as of yet prob doin the vanos and valley pans and while im in there what ever else needs it to be preventitive !

283k. M52, head gasket followed by cooling overhaul with high performance water pump, alternator due to leaky power steering fluid reservoir, driveshaft, fuel pump and recently an o2 sensor. All else just regular maintenance stuff. I change my oil every 3k on the dot, no matter what BMW says. Engine flush every 9k. You could eat off my valves.

Maint wise I've done intake gaskets and everything associated. Valve cover gaskets, plugs. Recently did shocks/struts/H&R Springs and suspension front and rear. Some suspension parts didn't need replacing but did it anyways.
This pic is before suspension rebuild, car sits a bit lower and front is now a bit lower than the rear.
