I'll give you an answer as soon as I figure it out for myself.
I haven't really touched my car because we've been so busy at the shop. I'm in the middle of a daily driving e30 m50 nv turbo project that needs to be finished before I can get back on my car again.
Next on my to-do list in A/C (i have the sanden compressor) then e65 brakes install and e65 seat install.
Why E65 brakes?
80 B6, 81 & 82 323, 85 745i, 86 535i-all euro. 01 750iL Blk/Blk 08 335i
Two reasons:
1. They were free I got rotors-pads and calipers with the brackets. I also have the hubs still just incase I need them for measurements or anything.
2. They work. If they work for a e65 then they will work for my car. I have e65 stuff all over the shop. New parts like rotors and pads are very easy for me to get a hold of.
Keep us updated. We need an upgrade for the front brakes.

We have torn the car to pieces in preperation for paint. I have a ton of pictures of the progress so far. I'll upload all of them as soon as the first coat of primer is on.
I found a ton of bondo work under the shitty paint job that i'm not so happy about.
The good news is before my cousin starts work in the next two weeks he has vowed to help me through all this work which is awesome of him. I told him i'll reciprocate by turbo'ing his e28 528 for him with all my extra parts I have.

What are you going to do about the weather strip on the front right?
Wow, that's looking great. I can't say how glad I am to see someone doing some real metalwork on an E23 and really doing it up right. That's a lot of work and time to put into one of these! Keep up the good work, I'm anxious to see how it turns out with the smoothed rails and mouldings. Should be interesting!

Thank you. I've never done anything like this before. So I'm excited to see if it looks decent when it's done. I can tell you one thing my welding skills went from shit to good enough by the time I was done with all the metal work. I was promised by a few body guys you won't be able to see any of it once it's done. I hope they are right. I ask myself every day why I choose a car that was so far gone and all I can come up with is why not. I love driving this thing and I get to drive amazing cars all day long.Originally Posted by Mr Project

No idea. I guess one problem at a time. I just ordered front and rear window seals. Tomorrow I'll order all the door seals.Originally Posted by SicStang03
