So I have a track day at Laguna Seca coming up in two weeks so I finally bit the bullet and isntalled the GC Coils I had sitting in my garage. My friends and I got them in no problem in just a couple of hours and it rides great. I don't really like how noisy coils/camber plates can be but my rear struts were completely blown which they should be with 78k miles on them.
I know you guys want it lower, not gonna happen right now, I like being able to get into driveways....The plan for now is to go get it corner weighted, aligned and then order some Star Specs for it since the front and rear tires are mis matched. I hate the contours so those will be replaced soon as well

Nice car, i like the height .........................perfect
My favorite E36. It's not filled with stupid stickers, weird colors, "slammed" ride height, goofy "mods", ect. I love it. Try to take video of your track day!
i3 & Z3 M Coupe
Love it!
I like it, but is the rear higher than the front? TC Kline told me to run around .5" of rake for optimal performance.
Looks great. Funny how Techno Violet is so hard to capture on camera.
Damn man...It's beyond perfect. I love it.

Your car literally looks brand new.
Not even joking

ride height is fine, what plates do you have? Coils themselves shouldn't be noisy.

And there never will be, I'm a die hard OEM + Nazi
The rear is about .5" exactly lower then the front but the shop will be able to tell me exactly.
It really is....haha
Thanks man, I'm a big fan of your car!
Thanks man, it has 78k miles so it's pretty close haha
The street plates, and stiffer suspension does make noise going over bumps, every car with coilovers I've ever had did anyway.
Hmmm I have tein basics, which are not 'great' coilovers, with stock strut mounts and they don't make a single noise over bumps that stock didn't make... albeit alot firmer, but no real clunking, rattling, or metallic noises. We'll see if that changes with the GC coilovers

we still won't like you but we like your car
