questions about your headlights

do you have the plastic covers on it? are there any down sides to driving the car without the covers on it? I imagine letting water in somewhere it hasn't been before may not be good?

going off your pictures it looks like there is no clear plastic cover

have you had any issues? how long have you had them that way? how do i take them off?
