    Cam Question

What is the best way to tell if cam or VANOS timing is off? The reason i ask is because i did the whole install myself and sometimes i feel low on power esp. in the low end. Could this be because of my Track Pipe (i heard it could do that)....i also do not have software programmed for it or my exhaust.

Do you have a CE light? If not, chances are the VANOS is fine. Try unplugging the VANOS electrical connector and drive around. If it's currently functioning, you'll defnitely notice a difference.

Have a 95 E36 with M50 motor with a single vanos, can you tell me if it's possible to replace the bearings and spacer in this vanos.

If your vanos timing is off, the ECU will throw a check engine light immediately.
