I like my seat tilted 1/2". I tried a 3/4" tilt but it was a little too much.

Anyone over 6' using this mod? I'm wondering if it'll be too much rise for my 6'3" build.

I'm 6'2" and have been using the mod since thanksgiving. I didn't notice any decrease in headroom. It's unbelieable how much of a difference it makes on a long trip.

To be honest I wouldn't mind trying a 1.5" spacer for more tilt. I do have really long legs though.

That makes sense. It's only raising the front of the seat, not the back. I wasn't going to worry with this, but I found an excuse to finally. Drivers side bolts are stripped out slightly and won't fully tighten down.

Finally got these installed in my Coupe. Made a huge difference! Very similar to the seating position of my E30 M3 seats.

    Thanks again!

I know I should keep this to myself, but I am only posting because that is dangerous. Not the proper way to change seating position. With out the seat rail touching the floor, you are asking those two studs to do a lot if you get in an accident.

I have a hard time associating userIDs to names + addresses. It's possible I could have missed your payment, however I'm betting it's in transit now. . Let me know and I'll check!

Any changes to a stock design of a car increases risk.

    From my original post:

This modification is done at the risk of the modifier - Do this only at your own risk!
This is NOT for everyone. If you are concerned it's too risky, you need to stick with your butt and back hurting each time you drive your car.

It comes that way from the factory FYI.

Do not worry! Yours was the last one I shipped. Snail mail unfortunately takes time! I know I just shipped yours on Monday (missed the pickup on Saturday). Maybe it will show up today.

Yep. Mine arrived today. Did everyone else's car come from the factory with a nut on the top, or a bolt? Mine has bolts... hence a need to get some more nuts.

Just painted all the hardware black. My passenger seat rail is binding, so I may use this as an excuse to take that apart again and figure out what's wrong. Ugh.

None of them that I know of came with a bolt. They all come with a stud that a nut thread onto. Sounds like someone has mucked with it before.

I suggest you get the BMW OEM nuts. They are a nice slip (flange) nut.

Painted all pieces black last week and installed last night while on a date in the garage... 15 mins per side... Great results! Seems to angle my legs for a more relaxed driving position (I'm 6ft). Look forward to a long drive with this configuration!

Maybe I'm just dumb but is it $20 per seat, or $20 for both driver and passenger seats?
