I keep putting it off because the weather has been too nice to spend 10 minutes doing anything but driving with the top down and smiling about it the whole way.

    Good times in ol' NorCal.

    Woot.
Looks good! Did you just rattle can them?

Total rattlecan® - got the last washer in the mail today- great timing. I think i'm going to mod this weekend, and just get the whalen bushings whenever I do.

    Thanks for sending that out.

That's ok, no need to refund the change. Will send you the PayPal and address details tomorrow. Thanks.

Installed the kit today- I had a plan to make a video, and cut it total of 3 minutes (max) - hyperspeed ratchet shots, interspersed with really quick (1/10th of a sec) super hot chicks, then the driver's seat finished, pan across and see the height difference, then highspeed (stop motion style) passenger seat, same hot chick treatment - just quick flashes. Then at wrap, a go-pro stop motion tear around the bay - then cut the whole thing to a Money Mark track. (Probably Underneath It All, because the timing, and you know. It's about the seat mod.)

Well what happened was, it all came together so fast - I didn't even take the time to prop up the seat. I just held it while I wrenched everything tight. The whole thing took 10 minutes tops, both seats - and I didn't chip or scratch any of the black paint off of any of the components. Looks totally perfect.

    Then I jumped in.

Wow. It didn't feel like a new seat, it felt like a different seat. At first I thought, "hmmm. Maybe that's a little steep for the bottom of my thigh." but by the time I reached 3rd gear I was sold.

Took the car for a long windy drive around Strawberry Point, Tiburon, Belvedere, back side of Paradise Drive, and then up over the mountain.

It's an amazing difference. You're just IN the seat.

    If Feels Great.

    Totally recommend it. Thanks Jon.

I'm in. Sending paypal payment shortly. Wonder if these will help with the butt soreness I get after a 2-3 hour drive?

Yes, it should. The "soreness" comes from driving distances with you legs not having contact with the seat.

    I got it.

Hopefully tomorrow. I actually have to go to the post office because it is international. Expect that it will take a good bit of time to get to you. With the holiday season upon us, customs typically takes extra time during the season.

Ok, thanks. Looking forward to it as the poor seating position on these cars drives me mad and recaros are an expensive option!

Just received them today. Also have my Doug Whalen bushes here now. Think I'll do the conversion for now and wait for it to warm up and not rain before tackling the bushes (no garage at my place).

    Thanks Mindy.

Update: fitted the incline kit over the holidays and have done a few long trips. What a difference to my back!
It is more comfy now and you definitely sit more 'in' the seat than 'on'.
The rise in height takes some getting used to as I always had the seat in the lowest position.

Did you ever try any shorter heights or did they not make enough of a difference?

The incline is also great for keeping things from sliding off the passenger seat by the way which is handy given the lack of storage room elsewhere in the car for things!

    Thanks Mindy.

This is a great solution and much cheaper than putting in recaros!
It actually got me thinking if anyone has taken the existing seats and got them redone with more body hugging foam an maybe alcantara or cloth to give a recaro like grip without the huge price tag? With this incline and a more hugging seat I think it could work well..

Did mine over the weekend as well. Easy install with great instructions from Jonathan. I haven't driven the car yet but the initial reaction is it feels good - more snug. As a side bonus it's easier to get under the seats to vacuum.

Finally installed my kit this weekend. Install was a breeze and the seats feel great. I will +1 on all the people who state you now sit more in the seat than on the seat. Thanks!
