Calling on all wheel fitment Gurus

    Gents,

I have a modifed E21 with the RACETEP Big Brake conversion up front, 323i rear disc out back. Coilovers also done at RACETEP. Will 16x8 et5 fit up front and 16x8 et0 fit in the rear? What tire size would you suggest?

    Thanks!

offset wise everything should fit but it sounds like you may need some fender rolling/pulling to fit that size wheel. and you may need to stretch tires just a bit

I would ask "TheNeek" about that one or you can play around with the miata tire calculator. i'm asuming you want something that wont throw off your speedo too much

You will have to have the fenders roll. If you go 205 series tires you will be fine, but might rub if you go to the lowest setting.

Will et5 up front will poke out past the fenders? I will have to roll my fenders with any tire set up? Thanks again!

What about 205/40/16 up front and 215/40/16 out back?
Or 205's the way to go?

Im running 205/40s all around on 16x8 et0. You'll be fine with 215s in the rear because the lip of the rim will be 25mm away. The front will be flush with the fender but with stretched tires you should be in the clear as long as you roll the fenders. The rear will only need the fender lips to be rolled.

the front clearance of 16x8 et0

side shot of both front and rear with the 205/40 stretched tires to fit under fender, these pictures are after i rolled the lips and rolled the fender out. Also the rear has a 25mm spacer on so the rim is close to the fender.

Thanks for the pics. Was the spacer needed before rolling the rear fenders?
