OK....So it wasn't a race or timed event, but I was still an opportunity to drive face in race-like conditions. There were only 3 M3's there, mine, the E46 and an E30 (with the E36 M3 motor in it). I had a blast, especially when I was able to catch the E46 M3 !!! Of course the driver was no experienced racer (hell, neither am I) but it still felt good to keep up with him!!! Oh yeah, have any of you heard what the E46 M3 exhaust sounds like under load? It sounded like a Honda Civic with one of those cheap aftermarket mufflers! I like the car, but if I were to ever get one, the first thing I would change would be the exhaust.

supposedly exhaust does not chang that sound. its still there, maybe not as bad but still there. Thats just how the engine sounds, no real way to get around it.
That's too bad. You would think that such a powerful car would sound better......

Hey, do you track the car with the crazy computer bolted in there?
Well, I don't go to the track that often (I plan to though since it is fun to drive the car that way) but yeah, it stays in there. No problems with it.
