... anyone have one? Looking to join and thought it'd be really great if I could get a bit of a discount on membership!

There's no discount on membership...the discounts come AFTER becoming a member. But you can help out a fellow BMW CCA member if you give them credit for bringing you into the club during a membership drive (which I believe is going on now).
If you'd like to join...please consider me if I've influenced you enough to join, see my BMW CCA membership number in my signature below.
Also, I assume you've been to their website to see all the things membership has to offer...if not, here's a direct link: http://www.bmwcca.org/membershipbenefits

I realize that you get discounts at various places for being a member. But I also saw that there was a place to input a discount code when purchasing a membership so I figured I'd test the waters here on the board and see if anyone knew the magic passphrase.

Perhaps they are running some special discount for joining. Try inputting someone's BMW CCA member nbr to see if it works. Feel free to use mine: 191509.
You may get lucky and they give you a discount.

Hey...like they say...membership has it's rewards.
But without new blood...the organization dies...so I whole-heartedly encourage others to join if they find a benefit from all that the organization offers. The Roundel alone is worth membership for some...but BMW CCA offers so much more...especially if your local chapter is one of the more active chapters.

my local dealer has NEVER asked me if I am a CCA member and just gives me the discount without my asking.........it s usually pretty substantial (sometimes over 20%)....they know me by car............
typical conversation goes like this with Midwestern Auto Group in Dublin OH parts dept:
me: i need a part for a 97 M3 (or 98 740i)
them: last 7 of VIN?
me: it s the same part on all E36 M3 (example there)
them: is this Richard?
is it bad that I know the number off the top of my head and not my parents' cell numbers or GF's number?

I got a BMWCCA membership least year. It more than paid for itself at the dealer in just one trip. My dealer gives 10% off the entire bill which certainly helps.
Also the Roundel magazine is very good and well worth the membership.
Current fleet:
1999 BMW e36 M3
1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head
1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
1962 Austin Healey Sprite
Not if you ask me.
I know mine by heart...and almost remembered my old e32 & e34 VINs...the blank spaces are the numbers I couldn't remember.
- e38 - DM08065
- e39 - GN90785
- e32 - DC283_7 (sold in 2004)
- e34 - GD26_7_ (sold in 2008)
Don't ask me anyone's phone number...I'd have to look it up. I even forget my own at times. The only phone number I remember without fail is the one my parents had from 1948-1998.

I know that this is an old thread and this thank you may be a few years late to some in this thread...but to those that have joined and used me as a referral...I thank you from the bottom of my heart...plus let me give you a big welcome to the club. I hope it has been everything you hoped it would be.
And for those that are curious as to what the BMW CCA is...here's a link to their website for information about the club: https://www.bmwcca.org/membershipbenefits
Oddly enough...I didn't see any mention of the annual BMW CCA raffle (for members only)...here's a link to the 2018 raffle and the cars that will be up for grabs this year. It's something that occurs annually to a few lucky members: https://www.bmwcca.org/raffle
