not supposed to. from personal experience, they're centered on my 98, and a friend's 97. it's real easy to poke your head down there and see, they're plainly visible.
but i'm asking because I have a 328is with 96' M3 strut mounts and center hole urethane bushes. The bushes seem to have a little play in the center of the hole, so I'm looking for alternative replacements. I guess the offset bushes would be too much castor?
the offset delrin bushes are for all E36 M3's? With the added castor I thought it would drive like a truck.
If you already have the 96 strut bearings, then the offset control arm bushings will probably provide too much caster. It would be extremely stable at high speed but turn in would be alot slower.
I have a set of new, offset control arm bushings for a 95 M3 but never used them. Anyone want to buy them? I paid $99 at the dealer. Make me an acceptable offer. These are a good upgrade to the non M cars for some added caster. Will help reduce tramlining. They are also solid so there is none of that play that you see with the "hollow" versions.
