subscribed - this is beautiful.
I'm no welding connoisseur but those welds look awesome to me - the bends on the 2nd mani are unique indeed, but look sexy.
do you sell built to order manifolds on here?
sweet, nice work

Thanks guys. I did about a 1 year stint a few years ago making and selling manifolds for other makes, but I'm "retired" from that work now.
I try hard to just do this stuff as a hobby these days - I do maybe 1 turbo setup a year or so for local guys but that's about it.
The thing with TIG welding is you really need to do it every day in order to keep your skill level up. I do it enough to be ok at it, but I don't do it enough to be good at it.

so you made those manis? damn.

Yes all of this is "home made" in my garage.
This sort of build would be prohibitively expensive if all of the custom work was farmed out to a "professional"
Not to mention it would take forever. I expect the turn around start-to finish on this build will be about 8 months.

I can't believe it took till someone else said it to realize why your name was familiar to me... t-brickers are coming out of the woodwork around here. Lol.
Dude, you do fine at this stuff - don't let Nathan's work make you think yours isn't good enough to sell, 'cause I'd be one to pay for custom work of the quality yours is. I for one would love to be able to tackle projects like this (starting with my brick, since it's already boosted ), but I need to acquire a workspace first, and then some nice toys like a decent welder. Then with several years of practice, I hope to be able to make threads like this of my own. But until then, I'm loving it and looking forward to more.

P.S. I won't cry about occasional pics of the brick here.

I did make and sell a couple dozen or so manifolds back in the day, I just don't have the time any more.
Speaking of not having time, I haven't done much recently.
I did get a shipment of mandrel bends, stainless flex sections, and silicone couplers from ATP today, though. So I have the parts needed to fab intercooler piping, downpipes, and exhaust now.
Once that is done along with a little more wiring, I'll have to decide what to do about paint/body.

pretty nice fab work!

If you can take it apart you can make it faster!
I can't wait to see the end of this...
Very unique project you have

You're living the dream man.....I drooled a little bit more every time I clicked to the next page. Nice work!
Over from tbricks to peep the progress.
Lookin good!
Hmm, I have left over snails including part or all of a t3/t4, mandrel bends, etc from my volvo 240+t project so I'm wondering how easy it is to do this on a M30 engine. Does anyone make exhaust manifolds?
damn brother this shit is sick! ill pm u i gotta question, but we need an update and more pics!
good stuff, so it can be done
would love to try this, but right hand drive, m50, and 2 turbos won't all work in the same e34

updates?
Turbo charging dynamics makes a m30 turbo manifold with a t4 flange. http://www.turbochargingdynamics.com..._Manifolds.php
If you know the concept of what you need to do get to it
Any updates on this?
