The clear turn signals and tail lights are pretty easy to install. Almsot anyone, even people who don't capitalization or punctuation can DIY :12:.

You should get good quality ones from a reliable source, because some people have had problems with some of the ebay stuff. The biggest probalem seems to be some of the aftermarket ones will prompt a taillihgt code on OBC.

Yes, you need ellipsoids for the DDEs.

    Welcome aboard.

if you think they fukin expensive, you shouldn't buy a bimmer first
of all....I had some wacky ebay taillights before...I banged my
head on the wall after they blew 4 fuses in one night.

if you know how to open the hood, you should know how to
    install the clear corners...

DDE...it is ghey, imo, unless you like to drive around without
headlights turn on...i'll say... get HID

www.bavauto.com (Bavarian Autosport) carries alot of BMW stuff, from exhaust, to skirt kits, to clear corners, wheels - you should check out the site and get the catalog - its free and it will give you a heads up about some stuff if you plan on doing mods to your bimmer... Well good luck!

You can also try Becker's for OEM clear turn and tail lights. Bavarian Autosports is also a good source, although there prices can be a bit high. Good service though from both though.

You're going to pay a bit more for OEM, but you'll know that they'll fit and work properly.

Umnitza (a supporting vendor of this forum) has the best prices around for Euro ellipsoid headlights and DDEs. THere are now several different options for DDEs at different prices. Umnitza is also a good source of information, check out his website.

As for clear corners. I bought these off of ebay:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2457395995

They came in two days for $27 shipped, and the fitment is very good. They are the same lense design as stock (I don't like the crystal ones) and pop in very easily....
