clutch would not disengage @ hard shifting

Ok here I go, Like two moths ago I was racing with another M3 from stop and when I punched it in first gear my tires started to spin like crazy so in order to get traction I used the clutch and gas at the same time after that I changed to 2gear and I notice that my RPM's when all the way up to 6.5k and stayed there while the car accelerate (like if you are release your clutch slowly). After that day if I drive w/o racing everything works perfect but if I want to race and change gears really fast my M does the same thing that back in that race: . Before all this happened my tires spin every gear but now they don't
So I don't know if my clutch or my slave cylinder is F$%#@
    Any ideas...........
    Thanks
    BTW my M has 60k

youll need an engine support or a crane jack, a floor jack, and a lift or jackstands.

and id highly advise investing in a bently manual before you do this, they run about $55, youll thank me if you get one. it tells you how to do just about anything on your car.

a clutch isn't that hard, but is a PITA on jack stands. Scho and I did his. You will need some torex sockets, a 30" extension. Other that its not hard. Drop the center exhaust section, undo the shifter, driveshaft, center bearing, then the tranny, clutch. It took us a while to do it, one day, then part of another, but thats not working all the time.

its that star shaped screw head, instead of phillips head that looks like an X it looks like a star. they make them like screw drivers and like socket wrench attatchments

No need for a engine hoist. At most you may need to tilt the engine back a bit. A second jack at the front of the engine will do the job. As for the torx sockets, go ahead and buy a whole set T5-T45 or so. They will come in handy in other places.

If I am not mistaken the torx sockets you speak of for the tranny bolts are reversed torx sockets. The tranny bolts have the torx heads, and the the SOCKET set is female torx.

Also, I cannot think of one bolt on my car that needs a standard torx socket. You use the reverse torx on the DME also(small). All the bolts on my car, are allen, metric or reverse torx.

I have to agree with HoJo here, that set of tools will be very handy with many driveline parts on your car. I can personally vouch from doing diff installs.

That set of tools may be handy, but a regular set of torx sockets is not going to get his transmission out.Or his axles for that matter. He needs reverse torx.
