Did you use m or non m fenders. Also what year. I love the look
Did you buy James S's old DSP car?
FYI, E46 M front fenders are only needed on the rear of our cars if you want 11" wheels. E46 sedan fenders will run 10" wheels up front easily with at least 2.5 degrees of camber. I have 9.5's up front with 1.5 degree of camber and 11" in the rear with .5 degree of camber and 295's but could run 315/335 easily with more camber. There is MUCH more work to get the M fenders to work in the rear if anyone goes that route. I did several of these projects back in 2005-2006 and showed many people how to do them. If anyone needs help, just PM me.
But like I said in a previous post, the work done in this thread is great.
sorry if this has been mentioned and I'm missing it, but are you using 4 e46 front fenders (or 2 front/2 rear)? thanks!
4 e46 front fenders.

Nice
In the rear, do you cut both outer and inner layers of the metal to clear the wider wheels? What do you do with the remaining metal inside? Do you weld in new metal and extend it to meet the new outer flare? How far do you go? (hard to follow the arch of the flare...)
yeah i cut the whole arch off.
the welded the e46 arch
once the arch was added i banged the original remains towards the new arch for betterr clearance

I NOW know what I'm going to eventually do to mine. Once I get some cash and learn to WELD. I will do it, oh yes, I will do it! Thank you for showing it!
hey guys.
i haven't updated this thread in a while, but this update is actually worth posting
after thinking it over and over i've made up my mind to go with an e30 m3 warsteiner paint scheme. after i rustoleumed the car white i went and bought vinyl. and using my plotter made some decals on it
here are some pictures

Looking good!!!
I Have a widebodied M3 racecar also, the e46 m3 fenders give it an oem look IMO, yours are looking great!
