I think VJLAX18's address should be added as well ...

Is this one for real though? If so, I'll add it. But it just looks a little dubious that he got 1-800-BMW-TECH
Chuck Stickly's Mechanic located in Baltimore....
BRANT
***EMAIL/PM ME FOR NUMBER***
He is the one that did my schrick cams, he bulids M3 race engines for a living and works with Chuck on many M3 race cars.
He is the only that got my schrick cams finally right, did an excellent job, definitely knows M3s inside out.
He doesn't have a shop but works from his home, he won't do small things, but if you have some major work need done he'll be more than glad to do it.
If you call, tell him ARMAN with the silver M3 sent you.

Hey, Posting Business Numbers on line is cool, and they advertise. But posting someone's personal number is not cool. Did you ask permission to post the number? You could make it available throuh PM's.

Maybe one day I'll have a shop
vjlax18 >> I doubt the guy would mind if the call was related to work. If that's what he does, and he chooses to work out of home, then I don't think he'd have a problem with people knowing how to contact him.

I don't remember seeing him post his number before.
Actually a couple guys on the board know and are friends with Brant and probably would've already chimed with already if they thought it would be cool.
Like John said, Arman posted his personal number.
Glenn was only kidding, but that would be like me or other people posting up John's cell or home number and telling them to call him.

Brant is like our Mid-Atlantic/Baltimore secret
He does know his sh..... and he does buy a ton of parts from me
Actually it's funny, I met him through Bill and I did mention your name to him at one point-he didn't recall who you were.Originally posted by ///Arman

Are either of those BMW-specific? Im beginning to think Im going to need to find a new mechanic for really specific BMW stuff, my current guy really isnt a specialist. :Originally posted by mr_mbuna

I was thinking about York Automotive in Mt. Airy since it's 5 minutes away. I know the owner (Ted York) occasionally has a couple 325 RACECARS outside his shop and Im pretty sure he races them competitively but I dont know who he has actually working on the cars.

Deutsch American is European-specific. Its a bit out in the countryside and its actually a garage in an aircraft hanger off a private airstrip. They work on German-powered airplanes too; in the past, the ATF/FBI has raided the place because they saw the high dollar cars and planes coming and going and they thought they were running drugs! Nothing of the sort was true, though.
I've never personally used F.A.E. but my friend uses Allen for his 97 318i and Subarus - so I think its an "all import" shop, but the owner owns some very NICE Bimmers, supposedly.

Haha, that's a cool story. I am familiar with Ball Road, it really is a back road, even for Frederick. I think I may try there, my friend was taking his civic in there for repairs so that should give me an excuse to stop by.
Jed, isnt your car a LTW 325 RACECAR too?
