ac + blower fan problems

hi there, just need some help solving my problem. i have a 1990 325i beemer. my blower fan just work in pos 4 althouh the car is switched off and the fuse of ac and blower gets so heated that it melts the fuse without blowig the fuse or it will eventually blow. please help i really do need it in our kind of hot weather.

Your blower resistor needs replacing.

if it is correct then resistor is not your problem
i would check out relays in fuse box and if allright then wiring ( go find good electrician, you will not solve this out if you do not have proper knowledge and tools)

hey thanx for the info. problem solved,it was both the resistors and relay that needed replacement. juast wondering why this happens. any ideas?
