So my new wastegates changed colors in 5 laps, and seized a few laps after that. Ran no wastegate all day with the HTA3582 wide open. I think I saw 28 psi or something around there. I'll check logs. Shit ripped. Here are some pics!

Cameraman probably trusted me a little too much
Well, with the wastegate seize issue, I just threw in as much C16 as I could and just decided #aintcare lets do this. I need to blow the head gasket anyway to have an excuse to re-ring it, since I goofed on a few 2nd compression rings... d'oh.
Instead, I apparently bottomed out or somehow damaged a fuel line, and punctured my fuel filter?
More Pictures and go pro vids soon

10 psi before the wastegates stuck, so I couldn't get 3rd yet on this tiny course

So the LEADED fuel and excess oil moving through these MV-S's are causing them to seize? Sad. Keep us posted on the "race" gate dimensions. When did you realize that you set those rings in up-side down?
Damn dude, the brave cameraman got some awesome shots!! Can't wait for next season

sounds soo gooood!!
Still pretty amazed by your driving Mike, you've come a hell of a long way since you started this build!
BTW: I was out there in that denty fresh white E30 B]
Took me a week but I read thought the whole thred! Great build lots of inspiration for my E36 M3 winter build in the garage. Keep it up!
So I've got some time between classes, might as well give a small update for those of you who don't already follow me on FB/IG
Sold my old AR design manifold, DP, and dump tubes to a local BFC'er in DFW area. (watch out on the streets of DFW for a SICK 11:1 AR design car running around )
I'm going to AR's new manifold and WG placement, water cooling my wastegates, and putting on an S366 T4 TS. AR design is also making me a new DP for the S366 which is going 4" straight out the hood, ala Platte Forme AG's E46 M3 turbo time attack car.
Also I'm going to be pulling the head and probably replacing pistons/rings since I goofed on my last ring install, and probably will need to put pistons in this thing eventually since it's been honed a few times now and piston to wall clearance is getting a little looser each time. I really want to go with some 10.5 or 11:1 pistons strictly for E85 use, but I'm not sure of anyone that has an off the shelf piston for 85mm bore, S50 stroke. I could bore the block out to 86 and just order S50 pistons, but I really would like to maintain as much cylinder wall thickness as I can for head gasket sealing. (I intend to max out the S366 at 30-35 psi on E85)
Anywho, car sits. I'm graduating this semester in May and hopefully will have a lot more budget and time to mess with it in a few months. I'll be sure to post updates when I fix the engine and put the AR manifold on. I'm SUPER excited for 750+ WHP.
I'm also looking into graphic designs for the car, as i'll be doing a full wrap on it with new sponsor decals and really want to do something flashy and awesome, like D1SL or D1GP style. No more plain jane solid color with no designs. If you guys have ideas or someone to recommend for drift car liveries, lmk!
Lots of crap in the works, but none of it will happen fast. Hopefully in 3-4 months though, it'll be wrapped, full E85 fuel system, OBD2 RK-tunes 115# tuning, engine fixed, making 750+ WHP, trans cooler and temp sensor install, and 4 clutch setup from BimmerDiffs.
Also my S13 started the other day, but I pulled the Tomei cams it has to install BC springs/retainers for 8k RPM redline and the cam journals look like crap, so i'll be pulling the head and having it cleaned up in a few days. Hopefully I can at least post some videos of that thing within 2-3 weeks.

Woohoo! Can't wait to see how the new beast comes out!
Mike,
I too love it wingless ALOT more. I'd personally keep a single color with different colored decals if I were you(especially since you want that heavily modified street car feel). I feel as though you will get bored with an actual livery, but if you must...what about a mixing together a couple of your favorite colors for a two tone color scheme?
a la Falken style...
Alpina style...

Awesome updates mike, more vids of this beast in action again soon! Btw i think it looks way better with the wing on haha, just my opinion
Check out fantasticvoyagesunlimited.com. He has made lots of liveries from formula d cars, to racecars, etc. Prices are very reasonable and work is top notch.
mike at what age did you know that you wanted to be ballin outrageous ?
