What kind of suspension mods are you guys running so that you don't rub a 10 inch wide wheel on the suspension? Huge spacers?? I have trouble with 245s on my car rubbing suspension, even with a spacer.

For me, 285/30r18's are on low offset wheels and a normal sized spacer in the front... My rain tires (295/35r17) with a "regular" 17x9" at 42mm offset needed stupid spacers, like 30mm in the front and 15mm in the rear... Yes, that is not an ideal tire and wheel setup for the wets, I had the wheels already and had to be cheap this season and was hoping that I wouldn't need to use them.Originally Posted by cmargosi

Current car set up is 285x18 front on ARC 10" Rears are 315x18 on ARC 10.5" Front flares are hand made of steel and the rears are modified E46 fenders. Made a 1 piece fiberglass lower front end that allow the flow to the front fenders and save tremendous weight. Lower front end and splitter are around 10 pounds. This was one of my first molds so a little rough. Moved from Hoosier R7 to A7 which helped getting the tires to temp, care is 2650 +/- with driver so pretty light for an all steel car.
