Very easy! I asked around and some un-named people said it was difficult/impossible. It took all of 5 minutes and little/to no beer

Yes, removed everything before you start. Once all the seals and whatnot are off the car, start from the rear and just pull down. Nothing will break. Youre good

I've done a little bit of research, and have found no evidence linking a short shifter to damaging the syncros. I had one in the b5, but rarely beat on it. I'd imagine if you were to beat the piss out of the gearbox eventually the synchros would go, but I highly doubt that'd be because of the short shifter. Use synthetic fluid obviously, but you should be good.

Rented a trailer for $50 from a local landscape guy to get the black car's guts out of the garage.


No more black car!


They unloaded it a lot easier than I got it in the trailer!:







Also selling some brand new PowerFlex LCA bushings. I got one into the lollipop and it started getting late so I installed some other bushings to help get my friend out the door. We swapped every suspension component. It took about 9 hours!
