This is a special BMW REAL AXLE/BEARING TOOL to use on a different applications
I rented similar tool ( just the older version ) to replace my REAR bearings
it worked great w/o any hammer !!

- Install the Bearing onto the Hub first; If you use the correct socket to drive on the INNER Race only, then you are fine.
- Use BMW Special tool to lift IN Hub & Bearing combo.
- The same tool can be used to lift OUT Hub & Bearing combo
- The same tool can be used to press IN Shaft Axle only
- The same tool can be used to press OUT Shaft Axle only
Tool is for rent , 100$ including my shipping
You will need to pay 400$ which i'll give you back in the end of lease

Does this tool work on the rear axle on an E39?
It looks like it is the front axle tool for an E60/E61.
I have both E60 and E39 axle tools

small shaft is for E39 , big shaft is for E60
I dont have black tool any more , it was the old version of the same tool

Where did you find the axle tool? I’d like to get one for E36 M3. Already have a bearing tool, but I spent hours getting the axles back in.
