Big BMW DINOpower, not like them little Japanese horsepowerz
Fast, Cheap, Reliable - Pick any two, and the third is laughable
I want pics of OP's car -- this build is legit
il take pictures when shes bein put together... its raining too much for my lazy a$$ to get any work done..
well i just ordered the ARP stud kit, 3"Vband hotside conversion, wastegate block off plate, injectors (thx McoupeMindy) and headlights for my girls miata so she can see at night. and 8 BKR7E sparkplugs. it was cheaper to buy 8 then it was 6? go figure..
hopefully im selling my wheels today so il have some spare monies to go have a down pipe fabbed up
UPDATE : Mounted intercooler and test fitted the head and such to see where everything would end up sitting.. gotta order a few more things as ive hit a few snags and have to order different parts
WTF do i do with these AC lines?? theres no way in hell im getting rid of it cause it works fantastic!!
look at darrens turbo thread. Use 540i A/C lines they are much more turbo friendly. He has great pictures of them and how he routed his down pipe.
I'm going to bend the lines an have a downpipe made to avoid them. :/ I'm so close to being done.
Sweet. Just in time for the dyno day on the 14th!
I dig it!
be careful not to kink them. The smaller one is easy enough to do but the thicker one is hard. It is steel and doesn't bend easily without kinking it. Even with a pipe bender. The e34 540 ones will help but even then, it will be close especially if you do a 3in DP. That said you may have more clearance between the fender and the m30 VC, than I have between my fender and the M50 VC.
VC meaning valve cover? yeah i was thinking of having a DP made that comes off the turbo over laps the valve cover a bit then go down.. it seems like the most simple thing to do.
and i wont be done by the 14TH sorry man. between this, the girlfriend , the girlfriends miata , and the dogs i STAY broke. lol
BUT i have some BADASS plans like where my wastegate dump will be located. and some other little goodies
yeah I meant the head and the valve cover. Doing turbos on these cars you need to get creative with some things as you know. I can't tell from the pics but you also might have more room to route the down pipe between the fender and the a/c lines. You'll get it!

some one recommend me a nice steering wheel.. something that has suede, wood would be nice as well. something that wouldnt look out of place in a 7 series.

I like your car a lot man
who needs a filter? its behind a headlight, thatll filter out most of the small birds/woodland critters/kids. 5mall5nail5 runs filterless, and has made great power without it. and hasnt killed his motor, which is a plus.
