It may be a bit. Just let George know that the regular 90* bend won't work. I have already told them but I know though don't have an e23 chassis to test fit so I'm not sure if they are selling you a newer design.

finally got around to installing my Podi boost gauge,

The car used to have adjustable headlights but when it got federalized they were removed. The controller however was left in place with a neat little drop down holder. Just had to dremel out the plastic to make the gauge fit. I still need to make a cover piece for the face so it looks more finished.

Nice! I wish my car had that drop down. I have my wideband just sitting free by the a-pillar while I figure out how I'm going to mount it.

car is regretfully for sale, however its more of a feeler ad, if anyone comes up with the cash i would be reluctant but happy to sell it to another enthusiast,

    new picture:

Not sure if anyone on here is going to the leavenworth cruise but i'll be there so feel free to come say hi!

Do not be scared of the intake plenum R&R, I just did this on my black 745i.

Remove the starter and it will be FAR easier to do the intake. Once starter is out, remove the lower support (10mm and 13mm) then you can reach every bolt minus the lower on the No 1 port. Easiest is to pull thermostat housing, but with some swearing you can do it. Use new gaskets!

Remember you have to pull the fuel rail in order to remove the top six bolts. Perfect time to have them professionally cleaned.

Install studs in the block to reinstall the starter, I would go as far as to use the B35 starter... I did, a breeze to install!

Since the valve cover is off, check the valve lash and be sure you have at least the updated camshaft oiler bolts. I would go all the way to using drilled ones that accept safety wire.

LOL those pintles suck. I would rather not play Russian Roulette with one of those damaging something either.

Yay for new diff, I have a lead on the same. Going to pay for it today... hopefully it arrives safely. I had one disappear in the mail and another where the seller never got back to me.

Now I am stuck dealing with FedUp as they lost my odo gears and I really do not want to reinstall my gauge cluster twice.

Man, I did too. I picked up a set a while back when ECS had the sale. Just had way too many wheels and sold the 18's. if I'd had my 745i, I might have kept them!

Its aliiive! Couple things left to do before getting it insured but driving it around the block was fantastic! Highly recommend the 3.91lsd if you can get ahold of one

Yah Kent, told you that the diff upgrade would be intense. I am still amazed so many 745i are still around with the 2.93:1... sure it is great for The Texas Mile or Zee Autobahn, but when my speed limit tops around 70mph, it really is of no use to me.

Time to order up a chip from Jarmo then squeeze a bit more from that K27. I found a PILE of old money orders I need to reissue, then I am going to have to order a modified K27 from Todd at TCD. I figure that is now found money and I will like finding power over 4800rpm on my M106!
