hello guys, I am having some problems with mi car.
1. the car seams to have a lot more power when is not fully warmed. When it gets its normal temperaturre y starts to loose power
2. Also when the car is in normal temp, I get partial throttle hesitation.
help please
Be more specific: Does not make sense other than just getting heat soak after driving around for a long time and you're noticing that.
ok sorry, the thing is that when I just started the car it feels more responsive and the turbo charges stronger but after a while of driving it, the car starts to loose power. Mabe I am geting heat soake, because I am using the turbo without filter and it is neear the manifold. How does heat soak feels?
Get a filter on that thing before you destroy the turbo! that thing has a good chance of eating a rock, especially if its bottom mount.
as far as heat soak issues.. i am far from all knowing but i thought of something that might work or might not.
have you ever had the car on a dyno yet?
i was thinking with a heat soak issue the car will most likely put out less power when experiencing heat soak.
maybe if you have the money/availability of a local dyno bring the car there and dyno it.
once as soon as the car get to a safe enough operating temp for a full boost pull
and then once after the car has been driven for a while?
see the results
just a thought, like i said i am no expert
if this post makes no sense, just call me an idiot and i will delete it.
has it always been like this? could it be that its running lean (and therefore running fine on warm up enrichment?
could it be temp sensor related?

First off, can you please describe your setup, including software, MAF, exhaust, WG, BOV, etc.

Stock FPR, stock ECU, stock MAF, and I'm assuming stock injectors.
You need something to control how much fuel goes into your motor buddy.
Do I need a tune and injectors or low boost?
Also What tune to buy? I have a 1997 s52 obd2 motor, cant find a good one.
thx for the help guys
There isnt enough head room in the stock ECU to cope with that much boost. Some cars their is enough to get a low boost setup on the stock ECU - not so in the 6 cyl E36's
Your going to want to buy at minimum; A wideband O2 sensor and gauge, and some form of engine management.
I hate interceptor computers as they advance timing as they add fuel (bad for boosted motor)
Get yourself a good management system now and you wont need to worry about it in the future.

It will be easier to find a tune if you convert to OBD1, but TRM is a starting point.

hmm that really sucks, so I have to do a obd1 conversion and then buy injectors and a tune .
